    Earthquake Jolts Capital and Various Regions

    An earthquake was felt in various areas of the country, including the capital Dhaka, on Monday (June 22) around 9:30 PM. Buildings shook for several seconds, causing many people to panic and quickly rush out of their homes, offices, and other establishments.

    Eyewitnesses reported that the earthquake tremor lasted for several seconds. Many have also indicated on social media that the tremors were felt in several other districts across the country, beyond just the capital’s various areas.

    However, there are no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage. Relevant authorities have also not yet confirmed any information regarding potential damage.

    Meanwhile, immediate information regarding the earthquake’s epicenter and its magnitude on the Richter scale is not yet available. Details will be disclosed once published by the relevant agencies.

    Experts have advised against panicking during an earthquake, recommending people to stay in safe places and take necessary precautions. Specifically, they have advised against using elevators during an earthquake and to move to open spaces outside buildings.
